Studeno polje with the meandering course of the Studeni stream is a sight that leaves many nature lovers breathless who find rest and silence there. The Studeni stream waterfall, which tumbles 350 meters deep into the upper canyon of the Rakitnica river with 21 cascades in spring and autumn, is a first-class attraction.

The legend of the dragon

The Umoljani village of Bjelašnica proudly guards Studeni potok, an oasis of peace and nature, which was created, as legend says, when a dragon tried to swallow the village and

its inhabitants. According to the legend, the dragon headed

towards Umoljani across the valley hidden among the hills. With her body, she left a winding trail in the green valley, which today is filled with crystal clear water. Locals fled to

the nearby Pošijak hill, from where they asked God to save them. Their pleas were answered, and the dragon remained petrified on the hill above the valley.

Studeno polje sa vijugavim tokom Studenog potoka prizor jekoji ostavlja mnoge ljubitelje prirode bez daha, a koji tamo pronalaze mir i tišinu. Vodopad Studenog potoka, koji se sa 21 kaskadom u proljeće i jesen spušta 350 metara u gornjikanjon rijeke Rakitnice, prvoklasna je atrakcija.

Legenda o zmaju

Umoljansko selo Bjelašnica ponosno čuva Studeni potok, oazu mira i prirode, koja je nastala, kako legenda kaže, kada je zmaj pokušao progutati selo i njegove stanovnike. Prema legendi, zmaj se dolinom skrivenom među brdima zaputio prema Umoljanima. Svojim tijelom ostavio je vijugav trag u zelenoj dolini, koji je danas ispunjen kristalno čistom vodom. Mještani su pobjegli na obližnji brežuljak Pošijak, odakle su molili Boga da ih spasi. Njihove molitve su uslišene, a zmaj je ostao okamenjen na brdu iznad doline.
